New Ogham BB League

Anyone heard anything about Blood Bowl 3? Was googling something and spotted mentions that BB3 is coming out and it should even be in 2020. New BB2020 ruleset and all, and this looks interesting

When I looked into the matter I just saw some fuzz about that the announcments that had been made through twitter etc had been re-tracted witout comments. I doubt that it will be out this year. GW politics I would say...

Yeah I would be surprised if something came out this year, well maybe new rulebook but certainly not BB3 with so little warning. But if some estimate was 2020 then 21 could be possible.

I was thinking perhaps last week could there be update to BB and what it could be. With new rulebook it is suddenly possible and I would probably buy it. Looked those videos and changes could be interesting.

Of course until get something official everything is still wishful thinking

For what I understood the reason for the delay was that GW is working on the next iteration of blood bowl and that was to be launched first. But who knows?

What would you like in to have in BB3?

For me it would be really nice to have more ways to personalize the teams and to show that your star players really are the stars of the team. It would also be good with some more user friendly controls, and of course less bugs!

Are there so many bugs? Except the one for combining blitz and leap when your player was lying on the ground, I didn't notice any.

Perhaps you are right, most of the biggest flaws have been ironed out. But what would you like to have in BB3? Apart from some nurgle fun perhaps...

Well, I don't except anything special... I just want Nurgle and Halfs to be implemented with no extra-cost (DLC) as well as Khorne created for BB1. And also Slanns that existed in BB board game (1st Edition).
Oh, maybe also the option to design or customise clothes, or at least logos as it was possible in BB1 (replacing some files, as we did in the French Squig League, it was fun).
And what about special cards used in the board game?
And also implement the rule according to which Minus teams automatically win the toss.
Last, a more user friendly interface?

Aye, customization of the teams and the user interface. That would be on the top of my list.

Yesterday, I noticed that cKnoor had posted a video regarding leaks from BloodBowl 2020 (new boardgame version):

If this is to be believed there might be MAJOR changes coming in BB3:

- New Passing stat separate from AG.
- New or altered kick-off events which includes some element of special play cards
- Completly new way of picking skillz: Use less SPP:s to get a random skill. Use more to pick your skill.
- New teams such as: Black Orc (gobbos and BO)

If this is going to be implemented in BB3, it will be quite a change. But who knows?

I saw some videos regarding BB3 Leaks. One new skill I have noticed is passing the ball while still moving, in the same way of blitzing.
